What is the criteria for my vehicle?
Criteria
Accepting vehicles no later than model year 1950 for the Flight Line event, best represented by a 1940's to early 50's period correct style. We welcome Roadsters, Coupes, Pick Ups and Kustoms that resemble what early Hot Rodders were running on the dry lakes or drag strips, or cruising to the Drive-In theaters in period.  
How Long
How Long Does it Take for my Hot Rod to be Approved?
Once you submit your application. Our Event Committee will go through the vigorous process of making sure your vehicle matches our Criteria. You will receive an email (used on the application) from the committee of Approval or Denial.
 
How much are tickets to register my vehicle?

Upon Approval by the Event Committee You will be asked to complete your registration through a payment portal for your $40 Advance Sale Ticket

Limited Tickets are available - No Tickets will be sold on the day of the event.

If you are not bringing a Hot Rod to showcase on the tarmac, Standard Admission Prices Apply
 
General Admission: $14
Senior (60+)/Veterans: $11
Children (5-17): $7
Under 5: Free

Third-Party Vouchers (i.e. Groupon) are prohibited for special events

Spectator Tickets can be purchased at the Lyon Air Museum Store (shop.lyonairmuseum.org)
What is Included In my Pre-Reg Fee
What is included in my Pre-Registration Fee?
With your $40 Pre-Registration fee you will get the opportunity to showcase your Hot Rod in a special parking lot (Limited Spaces Available). The price of the Advance Sale Ticket includes your vehicle, yourself, and passengers inside the vehicle at the time of check-in. Your spot at the event is not confirmed until you complete both the Application and the $40 Advance Sale Ticket (Once Approved).

Please allot a time frame of 8am-1:30pm

Check In begins at 8am - 8:45am (Check-In Location will be disclosed in a separate Email) (No Late Arrivals)

Load-Out Begins at 1:00PM (No Early Departures)

Yes, the event will be open to the public.
 
Spectators are encouraged to purchase tickets ahead of time via the Lyon Air Museum Store (shop.lyonairmuseum.org)
What Do I Need to Bring on Event Day
What do I need to bring on the day of the event?
Following the purchase of your Advance Sale Ticket you will receive important information on what to bring to the event in an email 3-5 days prior to the scheduled event from our Lyon Air Museum Special Events Team.
Can I Leave the Event Early
Can I leave the event early?
No, per our event policy, we request that you remain at the event until the scheduled departure time. Please allot a time frame of 8am-1:30pm

Yes! We have a delicious Food/Coffee Vendor that will be present and available for purchase.
